#JustBooked

I aint know JAL still flew them. also what class

#justbookedlastthursday:
I haven’t booked flights home from us yet which I could leave from ewr or Boston if I leave from ewr I will fly direct but if I leave from Boston I might connect in JFK, lga, or ewr or I could fly direct. I’m hoping for a lga connection or direct from Boston. I then have to fly back to JFK so I can catch my flight to Munich. the flight back to JFK where I will have to switch terminals and airlines and. re-check in and spend like 7 hours in terminal one at JFK. this flight will be direct and will probably be on AA but could be on JetBlue, rare chance of Delta. ill update this when those flights are booked, which will probably be in late April or early May. There is also a flight from Munich to Valencia between the 2 long haul flights and it will probably be on Lufthansa but the program planner is booking those flights

flight 5 or 6:
Airline/Flight: UAL121/UA121 (first time flying UA long haul)
Route: LEBL/BCN - KEWR/EWR

With 27 aircraft in service, they are one of Asia’s final major operators of the type. Their 767s are fairly young as well (for passenger 767s at least), at an average of 15.9 years old. (JA601J is the oldest at 21 years old and JA659J the youngest at only 11.4.)

One thing’s for sure though: JAL’s 767s will be around for a lot longer than their 777-200(ER)s.

DAMN those r some young 76s

how old r the 777-200ers. and the a350s are probably replacing them

I mean u might be wrong

ok, I have an update. I am flying home from Newark on a United 737-800er meaning that I will most likely be 5 flights this summer making home from Newark on united number 1, back to JFK on aa most likely (hoping for JetBlue tho) the second, jfk-muc on the 380 the third. muc-vlc direct on a Lufthansa a320 neo is most likely the 4th but we could connect, I doubt it though and the 5th and final is bcn-ewr on united’s 787-10

They haven’t settled on a replacement yet, as far as I know.
Probably because the 787-8 is less optimized for short runways (JAL flies their 763s to runways measuring only 2000m/6562ft long.)

they might just start serving those airports with narrowbodies now

Well, they do. Izumo gets three daily 737s and one daily 767 as well from Tokyo, but I’m guessing the only reason why the 767 is there is because there wouldn’t be enough passengers to fill two 737s, but one 737 wouldn’t do the job either.

JA701J, 20.8 years old; JA702J, 20.6 years old and JA703J, 20.3 years old. All three are currently listed as parked and are also the oldest 777s in JAL’s fleet.

Perfect

imagine being able to choose your seat

c’est amusant

I mean, he’s not flying on an LCC that charges extra for literally everything apart from the base fare… (Admittedly, we paid about $200 HKD extra per person for an economy class seat on the upper deck of the Emirates A380, but a large portion of the seats were free to choose.)
