So I believe the Coulson came in from Australia as it’s based there for fire fighting ops. Might be getting some sort of maintenance or upgrade. The Malindo may be getting retired or something.

No it wasn’t a joke I actually found it

Weird that they’d fly Malindo to SBD
Usually be Victorville or Goodyear

Getting closer to more normal operations finally (looking at the current stats)
Still have a ways to go, hopefully by next year

@Zach @KTJ_Mitchell @ThatOne9WPlen 2 MAXes coming here (and not at night lol), I might be able to film both with a nice lighting! that is, if the wind doesn’t mess up witn the runway

We don’t have any scheduled today

And we rarely get AA MAXs. Be cool if one of them on my trip in 2 weeks is a MAX8.
If it happens it’ll be on SNA-DFW or DFW-SNA

The only MAX that is based here (at least from what I saw from recent data) is XMG. XMM also seems to be based here, but still not a lot of flights to get any conclusive results. XMD is also another one I keep my eye on, though it appears it’s back at SBGR.

Normally they use an A320/A220 for this short route, the 16 of July they also used their B77W !
