Hi all!
Like a lot of you here, I came here to see what the difference is between here and the IFC. As far as I’ve seen, this seems to be a bit more relaxed, so I might stick around here for a while…
About me
My name is Rian, I come from Ireland, I live in The Hague, The Netherlands/Holland. I speak English, Dutch and currently am learning French.
I love music, I play guitar myself.
I love flying my rc plane and taking my dog for long walks.
I’m also mad into aviation photography. I own a Canon Eos 350d, a Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 and a Canon Eos 2000d/Rebel T7, the latter being the newest addition to my plane spotting gear.
My favourite aircraft is the Diamond DA-40. Not the -NG, but the one with a gauges cockpit. This aircraft holds a special place in my heart as it’s the very first aircraft I have ever taken off. Favourite commercial plane would be the B738, or 787 fam. With the addition of the 20.3 update, I certainly have been flying the 757 more often, so basically every recently reworked Boeing aircraft I’ll be flying around the whole time.
My favourite airline would either be Aer Lingus or KLM. Aer Lingus because I come from Ireland and I later am planning to move to Ireland and KLM is because I get very attached to the airline flying over me every day.
I love flying in very different regions and weather conditions, such as storms and low visibility. Most of the time, with that I mean 95% of the time, I fly in Europe.
In the real world, I love assembling plane model kits such as Revell and Tamiya.
