Besides, the songs I know get boring after a while, and finding new ones is nearly impossible so…
i might be wrong, but doesn’t the free version give you all features with the occasional ads? Again i’m not sure and might be wrong

Does shuffle find you new songs or just shuffles the ones you listened to?
With free Spotify you can listen to maybe 5-10 songs a day/week/month, then after that you have to listen to the entire album that that particular song is in, with ads as well!
I’m sticking to SoundCloud, it’s free, no ads. Besides what’s the point in paying $10 a month when I barely listen to music a couple times a year lol.

shuffle just shuffles the songs in your playlist. smart shuffle finds new songs for you. I used to be just like u icl (i hope you don’t take that rude idk how to phrase it kindly) but then spotify smart shuffle and the daily mixes just found new songs for me.
Wouldn’t say 90%, but there’s clearly a trend that music is getting progressively worse.
This decade is worse than the 1720s music-wise.
