Fun fact; the 737 MAX takes longer to start up than the 737 NG

The CFM56 engines on the 737 NG take ~45 seconds to get going, whereas the LEAP 1Bs on the 737 MAX take over 2 minutes

I was today years old when I found out that VASP lost a 737-200 on the same day the Challenger Space Shuttle exploded. I knew about both disasters previously, but never that they happened only a few short hours apart from each other.
