After returning from their time-off for the holidays, Boeing is back delivering their planes to customers. This includes a MAX, specifically a MAX-9 going to Alaska Airlines. The example that was delivered has a registration of N929AK and an MSN of 43322. It was delivered to the airline from Seattle to Anchorage for delivery, and will be entering service with Alaska in the near future!

And finally, along with presumably the last delivery of 2021 for the MAX program, Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and The Boeing Company as a whole, we have a MAX-8 going to Flydubai. Specifically, the aircraft they took has a registration of A6-FMP and an MSN of 60990. It was delivered to Flydubai on its delivery flight from Seattle to Dubai via Shannon, and will be entering service with the airline soon!

Iâm not sure if it counts from when it takes off or when it lands. Hoping for T/O, as that would give BCA 40 deliveries in December.

And then thereâs the whole mess of timezone difference

Eh, shouldnât be too difficult, because if it is T/O, all Boeing locations related to delivery (Renton for manufacturing, King County Airport for delivery, Seattle for commercial division headquarters, and Chicago for company headquarters) are still in 2021.

Okay, the actual last delivery of 2021:
Flydubai taking a MAX-8 to finish the year off, specifically the aircraft has a registration of A6-FMN and an MSN of 60989. It was delivered to the airline on its delivery flight from Seattle to Dubai via Shannon, and will be entering service in January!

MAX-7 Certification expected really soon (only a few months away tops), will be great to see another customer joining WN and WJ! Probably will be start of a large fleet with them, seeing as theyâll have an additonal 80 aircraft to go. I see these MAX-7âs going to replace their quite old 319âs, and an eventual MAX-8 or MAX-200 order for their 320âs in a few years.

Actually, the -7 could replace A320s. The allegiant A320s seat about 177 and the max capacity for a MAX 7 is 172 seats.

Eh, I see Boeing showing them the MAX-200 in the future, itâs a ULCCâs dream

So weird having a US ULCC going to all Boeing (if they do later on)
I mean besides SC, but they arenât as big as the 3 main ULCCs

Iâm quite sure Boeing saw an opportunity, considering just about every other large US airline (with the exception of Sun Country) had either chosen the MAX or the NEO
